Shipping policy

1. Ordering process, contract conclusion

1. The customer can select goods from the product range of the lafere.ch shop and collect them in a so-called cart by clicking on the "ad to cart" button.

2. By clicking the "Place order" button, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions. The customer must pay all costs by credit card or Twint (see section 3.4). Payment must be made in full before completing the order process.

3. The customer will then receive an order confirmation via email. A binding contract is formed upon receipt of this order confirmation.

4. If the customer does not meet the requirements of section 2.3, no contract will be concluded. Any payments already made will be refunded.

5. Should it transpire after conclusion of the contract that the ordered goods are either partially or entirely unavailable (non-availability of goods) or that the ordered goods exceed typical household quantities, lafere.ch reserves the right to withdraw from the contract. The customer will be informed of this by email. Payments already made for the corresponding goods will be refunded to the customer either in full (in the case of a complete withdrawal) or with respect to the unavailable goods (in the case of a partial withdrawal). The customer cannot assert any further claims.

6. Should it transpire after conclusion of the contract that the ordered goods cannot be delivered, either partially or entirely, due to force majeure or for reasons beyond lafere.ch's control, lafere.ch is entitled to withdraw from the contract in whole or in part. The customer will be informed of this by email. Payments already made for the corresponding goods will be refunded to the customer either in full (in the case of a complete withdrawal) or with respect to the undeliverable goods (in the case of a partial withdrawal). The customer may not assert any further claims.

2. Deliveries

1. Lafere.ch delivers exclusively to customers with a delivery address in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. Delivery is made directly to the delivery address provided by the customer.

2. lafere.ch is entitled to make partial deliveries. Subsequent deliveries will be made immediately upon arrival of the goods. Any shipping or collection deadlines specified by lafere.ch are non-binding guidelines. Should lafere.ch fail to meet a specified shipping or collection deadline, the customer is entitled, after a grace period of at least 10 days set in writing, to withdraw from the contract with respect to the goods that have not been shipped or are not ready for collection. Any payments already made for the corresponding goods will be refunded to the customer in this case. The customer may not assert any further claims.

3. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon handover to the carrier. To preserve claims against the carrier and/or the insurance company, the customer must inspect the goods for damage and completeness upon acceptance of the shipment. In the case of externally visible transport damage or quantity discrepancies, the customer must submit a precise and detailed reservation to the carrier. Transport damage or quantity discrepancies that are not externally visible must be reported immediately, but no later than five days, to lafere.ch customer service (email: info@lafere.ch). Acceptance without reservation (in the case of externally visible transport damage or quantity discrepancies) or after the expiry of the five-day period (in the case of externally invisible transport damage or quantity discrepancies) forfeits any claim against the carrier and/or the insurance company.
Delivery and placement of the goods must be possible and reasonable without the use of aids such as freight elevators, winches, special vehicles, or the like. It is the customer's responsibility to point out any potential difficulties and/or obstacles to delivery or placement of the goods in advance and to clarify any additional costs that may arise. Goods whose destination cannot be directly reached by the carrier will be transported to the nearest possible location (e.g., the valley station of a mountain railway).
The customer is obligated to accept the shipment. If a shipment proves undeliverable and the goods are returned to lafere.ch by the carrier, lafere.ch reserves the right to waive any subsequent fulfillment of the customer's obligations regarding the unaccepted goods without setting a grace period. lafere.ch is also entitled to claim damages for breach of contract. The customer has no voluntary right to exchange the unaccepted goods.

3. Price and Payment

1. All prices in the online shop are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT. VAT levied outside of Switzerland upon import of the goods is the responsibility of the customer.
Lafere.ch reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the prices valid on the order date and stated on the order confirmation always apply to products ordered by customers.

2. Shipping costs and any other additional charges may apply to certain countries (e.g., surcharges depending on the chosen payment method) and will be shown separately and charged to the customer.

3. Customers can pay by credit card or Twint. Lafere.ch accepts only Mastercard and Visa.
Your credit card will be charged upon shipment of your order by Lafere.ch. In the case of partial deliveries, only the costs for the shipped products plus shipping costs will be charged.
