What is trail running?
Trail running means running off-road – on forest paths, mountain trails, and alpine terrain. It combines endurance, technique, experiencing nature, and mental strength.
What is the difference between trail running and trail running?
The terms are mostly used synonymously.
Traillauf is more commonly used in German-speaking countries, while Trailrunning is the internationally used term.
Is trail running also suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely. Trail running is suitable for all levels. As a running coach, I adapt the pace, distance, and technique to your current fitness level. A safe and sustainable start is always my priority.

Is ultratrail coaching also offered?
Yes. I'm happy to share my experience from participating in ultratrail races with you, and together we can develop targeted running coaching for ultratrails, including longer distances and elevation gain training.
Are there also offers for hikers?
Yes. Many trails can also be explored on foot. We'll adjust the length and elevation gain together to suit your needs.
What does "Laufe nid Lafere" mean?
"Laufe nid Lafere" is Bernese German and means: Don't talk - but do (run) .
This attitude is precisely what characterizes the running coaching at Lafere.ch.
Does Lafere.ch also sell running accessories?

Do I need to be very fit to start trail running?
No. A basic running foundation is sufficient. We'll develop the rest together – step by step.
Do we also train uphill and downhill?
Yes. Uphill and downhill techniques are key elements in trail running. I'll show you how to run efficiently, safely, and with control on varied terrain.
